¿Who is Alita?
My name is Alejandra, but everyone call me Alita. I was born in Mexico. During my work and academy experiences, I had the opportunity to live in different cities and countries. These experiences have gifted me meaningful friendships, a deep appreciation for diverse cultures, and the chance to learn new languages
The story
2024 · My arrival in Germany
My husband and I moved to Braunschweig, we live with our two cats, and we deeply enjoy spending time in the nature or traveling somewhere.
2022 · The Beginning of my Love for Yoga
My husband and I moved to Tokyo from Mexico. Starting over in the largest city in the world felt overwhelming at first. Coming from a Western mindset, everything around seemed unfamiliar and difficult to process… until Hatha Yoga entered my life.
Before then, I had never heard about the Himalayan tradition of Yoga, and I became deeply curious to learn more. I discovered that in India, Yoga is not seen simply as a sport or fitness practice, but as a conscious way of living.
As I continued my journey, I was introduced to the philosophy of Yoga, and it completely transformed my perspective on life. My practice became my anchor, and little by little, living in such an enormous city no longer felt chaotic.
Yoga has brought incredible people and meaningful memories into my life.
Through this practice, I have formed deep connections that go beyond friendship and each of those people has played a key role in inspiring me to teach yoga.
Japan became one of the most transformative chapters of my life. From discovering Hinduism, Buddhism and Taoism to experiencing the profound respect people show toward one another and the beauty of living with purpose (Ikigai), everything felt like a gift.
Looking back, I truly believe nothing happened by chance. Yoga was already waiting for me on the other side of the world, patiently waiting for me to find it.
